I LOST 40 LBS.!!!!!! Because of you!!! Thanks!!!
So here is my story! I was home with a broken foot, not able to do anything. I was sitting on the couch just watching TV. Then I saw your show, not knowing what it was about, I turned it on. Realizing that you were talking to women just like me! I was over weight about 195 lbs. 5’4”. Heavy but not unhappy! I said to myself “look at those women” that’s gonna be you in 5 years!!!
Wake up call!!! So I continued to watch the show and over and over you said just eat right and exercise and it comes right off. So I followed your rules (fish, fruits and veggies – not fried) and exercised every day and in just 10 months I lost 40 lbs. I feel great. I haven’t had heartburn or a headache in 10 months either. You are an amazing woman and a great teacher!

I wanted to share my weight loss journey with you and Gillian and also wanted to thank her for being the caring loving individual she is and even though she can be tough the end results are so worth it.
I am a huge fan of Gillian McKeith...she is like a god send to people. It is so wonderful that she is here to help people become more aware that you truly are what you eat.
I live in the U.S. and I watch her show " YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT " on BBC America. I have seen all the episodes but I still watch it daily as it seems I learn something new each time or become more aware of certain things.
I cannot tell you what a big fan and supporter I am of Gillian McKeith and through my Weight Watcher's and eating more the Gillian Way I have lost well over 60 lbs. I cannot tell you how much better I feel really I seem to have more energy and I truly have a brighter out look on life. As I Turned 40 yrs old,I realised I've been dieting for 20yrs. That's when I realised that I would like the next 40 years to be thinner and healthier. I was 3 stone overweight when I contacted Gillian for help. I had health problems, I was tired constantly, had heartburn and bladder problems. Gillian told me that with all the fast food and salt in my food I was poisoning my body. The salt was dehydrating all my organs, especially my bladder. After eight weeks on Gillian's healthy eating plan my waist had shrunk by 10 inches and my health problems had gone.I feel like a new person, my body has shrunk and I've lost 2 stone 10lbs.


I have been overweight for the majority of my life and would spend my entire pocket money on Sweets. When I left school and began earning, I would buy all the confectionary that my mother would not let me have. It was a very self-destructive form of rebellion. Then when I moved away to live in the U.K. and had my own home, I would stock the cupboards with what I wanted. During this 11 year period, I was comfort eating because I was homesick.
